Our expert panel will:

+ Explore the unique challenges women in cosmetic surgery may face
+ Give advice for women beginning their careers
+ Discuss issues like work-life balance and gaining the respect of one's peers
+ Hold an open Q&A session

Help us drive cosmetic surgery into the future by recognizing and amplifying different voices and perspectives. This event is open to all meeting attendees.

Attendees are encouraged to wear the color purple to honor women in cosmetic surgery and share their experiences with the hashtag #AACSWomen.

Rania Agha, MD

Dr. Rania Agha, MD is a board certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon in Oakbrook Terrace and Chicago, Illinois.
Sheila Barbarino, MD

Sheila Barbarino, MD, FAAO, FAACS, FACS, a board-certified surgeon with a fellowship in oculo-facial plastics/cosmetic plastic surgery, specializes in full body cosmetic surgery and full face.
Victoria Karlinsky-Bellini, MD

After immigrating to the U.S. from Russia when she was just 13, Dr. Karlinsky-Bellini and her family had to build their life here from scratch. Dr. Karlinsky-Bellini and her husband Gabriele founded New Look New Life Cosmetic Surgical Arts in 2009.
Suzan Obagi, MD

Dr. Suzan Obagi is recognized as one of the world's most respected cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists. She is an associate professor of dermatology and associate professor of plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and serves as the director of the state-of-the-art UPMC Cosmetic Surgery & Skin Health Center. She served as the 2018 President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Jane A. Petro, MD

Jane A. Petro, MD, has been an academic plastic surgeon and a social activist. She was a Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College and is a past president of AACS and the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.
Suzanne Yee, MD

Dr. Yee is a National Education Faculty Member who instructs physicians in treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic, teaches medical students and residents, serves on many committees and boards, is a published author, public speaker, and has received numerous awards and recognition for her contributions to the medical profession.

Pat Altavilla joined Suneva Medical in October 2016 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing after a distinguished 30-year career in the aesthetics and medical fields.
Michele C. Franklin, Vice President Professor and Industry Relations, Merz Pharmaceuticals

Michele Franklin is responsible for leading and execution of the organization key opinion leader strategy and engagement, training and education, and customer engagement at Merz North America. Her career has spanned nearly two decades in medical practice management, sales, strategic communications and professional relations.
Risa Rose, Director, Professional Relations, Allergan Aesthetics

Risa Rose is responsible for building, developing, and leading professional KOL initiatives across the Medical Aesthetic franchise at Allergan. Her responsibilities include KOL management, building and strengthening established customer relationships, and identification/development of new KOLs.
