Subspecialty Organizations
Since its formation in 1985, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery has grown to become the leading representative of cosmetic surgery practitioners from a diverse array of original medical disciplines.

Furthering this effort, the American Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgery, the American Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery were formed as subspecialty groups within the Academy. AACS members interested in becoming members of these subspecialty areas may select these memberships during the AACS application or renewal process.
As a member of a subspecialty group, you will receive the use of a logo for your marketing materials.  This logo signifies your commitment to the sub-specialty. The subspecialty logos are trademarks of AACS. The logo can only be used by current members of the subspecialty group. Individuals who have not paid annual/current membership dues, are not permitted to use respective logo(s).
