Description of ProgramThe Sarasota Surgical Arts fellowship is a one-year general cosmetic surgery fellowship. The fellow will experience a mix of both facial and general body cosmetic procedures. The fellow can expect  between 800-900 cosmetic procedures for the year.  Sarasota Surgical Arts has a mix of 50% facial procedures, including facelifts, mini-lifts, necklifts, blepharoplasties as well as rhinoplasty and  skin resurfacing procedures. Body procedures include: liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentations, breast lifts and reductions, BBL's, brachioplasty, as well as other body contouring procedures.

The fellow will be responsible for pre-op, post-op care, as well as joining the doctor in consults. The fellow will also get experience in all facial filler patient care. The practice is located within five miles of beautiful Siesta Key Beach, one of the best beaches in America.

Prerequisites for Fellows: This program accepts Board Certified, Board Eligible General Surgeons, OMFS, OB/GYN and ENT’s who can obtain an unrestricted medical license in Florida.

About Alberico J Sessa, MD:  Dr. Sessa is the founder of Sarasota Surgical Arts. He has been in practice over 10 years, located in a beautiful beach community. He is a winner of numerous awards for patient choice and cosmetic procedures; the practice is considered the premier place in Sarasota for cosmetic surgical procedures, laser treatments, injectables and aesthetic procedures.

Dr. Sessa has the distinction of being a “double board certified” surgeon. He is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in cosmetic surgery as well as the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
