Description

Participate in activities designed to support and increase observational preceptorship programs offered by AACS. Develop program guidelines, approve preceptors and review post-program evaluations submitted.

 

Goals

  • Increase number of preceptors and preceptees.
  • Increase in positive post-observation surveys received.

 

Time Commitment & Qualifications

The committee will hold two, one-hour teleconference meetings per year and is responsible for ongoing virtual review of post-program evaluations. Members will participate in conversation and provide feedback via group email when requested.

Those volunteering for this committee must share a commitment to mentoring and educating the next generation of cosmetic surgeons by offering practice-based, observational education opportunities.
