Inland Cosmetic Surgery
Rancho Cucamonga, California

Description of Program: Dr. Jacob Haiavy established his general cosmetic surgery fellowship at Inland Cosmetic Surgery in Rancho Cucamonga, CA in 2005. The fellowship is designed to educate and prepare qualified surgeons for successful practice in cosmetic surgery. The fellows are encouraged to challenge the board examination given by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery after completion of fellowship.

The fellowship program encompasses facial, breast and body contouring as well as non-invasive techniques of rejuvenation. On average, the fellows actively participate in approximately 700 major cosmetic surgical cases per year.  Dr. Irene Tower serves as additional faculty on site.

Dr. Haiavy and Dr. Tower specialize in the transumbilical method of breast augmentation. They also perform endoscopic brow lifts and mid face lifts, abdominoplasty, liposculpture, post massive weight loss body contouring, body lifts, breast lifts and reductions, rhinoplasty and other minimally invasive techniques.

Two fellows are taken per year (one begins January 1 and the other on July 1 each year). The fellows are involved in all aspects of patient care including consultation, pre op, surgery, and post op care. We offer a stipend of $36,000.

The fellowship is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California at a free-standing state of the art surgery center with two operating rooms on site, as well as a conference room with full capability of viewing live surgery for education and courses. The program has multiple affiliates, including Shumway Cosmetic Surgery in La Jolla, Loma Linda University, Jules Stein Eye Institute in UCLA, and other colleagues that are happy to share their expertise and knowledge with the program’s fellows.

Prerequisites for Fellows: Fellow must qualify per the AACS fellowship guidelines.
