Registration and General Inquiry

Annual Scientific Meeting NetworkingHow can I cancel my registration?
All conference cancellations must be received in writing to by December 12, 2014 in order to receive a refund, less $150 for professionals, $50 for guest registration and $25 for exhibitor registrations.

Can my spouse attend?
Spouse/guests are welcome to attend the conference, but must be registered to do so. There is a registration category for spouses/guests to defray the cost of food at social events. The spouse/guest registration fee covers access to the following events:

Opening Reception, Wednesday, January 14

Continental Breakfasts Wednesday, January 14 – Saturday, January 17

Lunches, Thursday, January 15 - Friday, January 16


If your spouse/guest would like to attend the President’s Gala, you may select that ticket from the optional ticket selections to add to their registration.


Can I purchase a one day pass?
Yes, one day rates are available for purchase on the registration page.

What is the appropriate dress attire?
Dress for all educational sessions is business casual. Remember that meeting rooms tend to be cool, so dress in layers. Appropriate dress for the President’s Gala is black-tie optional.

Can I receive a letter of invitation in order to secure a visa?
In order to receive a letter of invitation from AACS Headquarters, you must be a registered attendee. Please complete this form to request your personalized letter of invitation. 

Hotel and Travel

Which airport should I fly to?
The Louis Armstrong International Airport is approximately 12 miles from the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The hotel is easily accessible by taxi both within the city and to and from the airport. You may also choose to enjoy chauffeured transportation from Limousine Livery.

Should I purchase travel insurance?
Yes, we recommend you always purchase travel insurance as a precaution. In the unfortunate and unforeseen event that the conference must be canceled, AACS will not be responsible for refunding individuals’ travel expenditures.

Program and Education
Can I change/add sessions to my registration?

Yes, since you will receive your CMEs based off of the sessions you have chosen during your registration, we encourage you to update your session choices if there are any changes. For members, simply log into your account and edit your event registration. This will take you to your original registration where you can add other sessions you will be attending. If you’re a non-member, call AACS headquarters at 312.981.6760 to have your sessions updated.


How will I receive my completed verification of participation form?

Completed verification of participation forms will be sent via email post-conference.
