Education Committee

Description

Responsible for overseeing the development of AACS ancillary educational opportunities, including courses, webinars and other products. Evaluate ancillary educational programs for continuing medical education credits, provide peer review per ACCME requirements, and drive educational content of meetings.

 

Goals

  • Increase engagement, attendance and awareness of ancillary educational opportunities.
  • Increase overall satisfaction of learners.
  • Increase learner competence and performance.
  • Increase the overall number of CME credits offered.

  

Time Commitment & Qualifications

The committee will hold quarterly, one-hour teleconference meetings per year. Members will participate in conversation and provide feedback via group email when requested.

Those volunteering for this committee should have a general knowledge of ACCME accreditation requirements, policies and procedures.
