Cosmetic Surgery Foundation: Your Foundation for the Future
Friday, September 11, 2020
By Dr. J. Kevin Duplechain, President, Cosmetic Surgery Foundation
The Cosmetic Surgery Foundation was established in 2000 to be a philanthropic organization through which cosmetic surgeons and our industry partners can advance our profession.
Many of you are familiar with the CSF Webster Society and its event at the AACS Annual Meeting. For those of you who are members of the Webster Society or who have attended the Webster Society dinner, I thank you for your support.
In June 2020, the CSF appointed a new Board of Directors. I am very proud to serve as President along with our officers and directors Vice President Sheila Barbarino, MD, Treasurer Edward Zimmerman, MD, Secretary Alex Sobel, DO, Immediate Past President
Irene Gladstein, MD, Director Roxana F. Barad, DO, Director Robert Jackson, MD, and Director Ryan Diepenbrock, DDS.
Over the last few months, our Board has been hard at work defining and refining how CSF can best contribute to our profession. In the coming year, the CSF will focus on three critical areas: research, scholarship, and service. We realize that some of
our goals are quite ambitious, but feel they are vital to sustaining the specialty that we all practice and love.
In the coming weeks we will be reaching out to share more of our plans for fiscal year 2021 and how you can support your foundation. While some activities of the CSF may change, what is constant is the need to generate dollars for research and scholarship
to sustain our profession.
If you have any questions please contact Colleen Nolan, our Executive Director at 312.985.0003 or email@example.com.
