Description:

This one and a half day workshop on soft tissue filler injection techniques and use of neurotoxin injections will highlight the various products and aesthetic indications. Through a series of lectures, panel discussions, and live patient demonstrations, the attendees will gain experience in understanding the anatomy, indications for treatment, and observe the injection technique in small group settings.

Topics covered include: facial anatomy and understanding the danger zones, expanded use of neurotoxins to enhance aesthetic results.

New concepts of using fillers as volumizers will be discussed and practiced, with special focus on advanced techniques for the tear trough area. There will also be a panel discussion on complications with avoidance and treatment, utilizing ultrasound guidance to improve soft tissue filler safety, as well as facial, hand, and introduction to body soft tissue enhancement. 

Target Audience:

This course is intended for the cosmetic physician, nurse, or allied health associate who wishes to learn basic skills as well as refine skills with neurotoxins and a variety of soft tissue fillers. Those cosmetic providers who would like to become more confident in dealing with potential complications and difficult to treat patients will benefit from the experienced faculty.

Course Objectives:

  • Describe the major facial danger zones with a better anatomical understanding 
  • Assess the face aesthetically to maximize soft tissue filler enhancement
  • Identify non-invasive rejuvenation of the eyelids through re-volumization and relaxation
  • Understand injection techniques for the tear trough area
  • Utilize neurotoxins to create a natural refreshed  appearance
  • Understand the additional neurotoxin indications for hyperhidrosis, masseter muscle hypertrophy, and migraines
  • Utilize soft tissue fillers for hand rejuvenation
  • Describe techniques for body enhancement with soft tissue fillers
  • Identify and treat complications of neurotoxins and soft tissue fillers

By registering for the AACS Training Institute: Hands-on Injectable Workshop, you agree to the policies below.

  • All online registrations must be completed on or before August 14, 2020.
  • Refunds for the workshop, minus a $75 administrative fee, will be issued on written cancellations received on or before August 7, 2020. Phone cancellations WILL NOT be accepted. Registrants assume full responsibility for notification to and verification of receipt by the AACS. Approved refunds are processed no later than 30 days after conclusion of the meeting. Refunds will be issued in the same method as the original form of payment.
  • Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, flight/transportation cancellations, unattended events or early departure. In the rare event of a meeting cancellation, AACS is not responsible for nor will provide refunds for costs associated with travel, airfare, hotel or transportation costs incurred by the registered attendee. It is always recommended that the registrant considering purchasing independent travel insurance.
  • Registration and attendance at or participation in the AACS Training Institute: Hands-on Injectable Workshop constitutes an agreement by the registrant to AACS’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproduction and audiotapes of such event activities.
