The Cosmetic Surgery Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your voluntary charitable contribution, unrelated to your AACS membership dues, is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Your donation is a way to say “thank you ” and honor a living person that was a mentor that positively impacted your career. It also can be a tribute to someone significant in your life who has passed away. After your gift has been made an acknowledgement card will be sent to the honoree or their family from the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation President. Please complete the “in Honor of ” or “In Memory of ” form field during the donation process.

Gifts and Planned Giving
Endowment Gift
An endowment gift to the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation today provides a brighter picture for our future. When you make a donation to our endowment, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits. Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support.
Matching Gift Program
Maximize your donation to the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation through Matching Gift Programs. Employee Matching Gifts are donations that an employer makes, matching their employees charitable contributions. Employer contributions are usually a dollar-for-dollar match, but they can be double, triple, or even quadruple. Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program and make your contribution go even further.
Charitable IRA Contributions
If you are 70½ years old or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to benefit the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation and receive tax benefits in return. You can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly without having to pay income taxes on the money. This law no longer has an expiration date, so you are free to make annual gifts to our organization this year and well into the future. This transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit if you do not itemize your deductions. If you have not yet taken your required minimum distribution for the year, your IRA charitable rollover gift can satisfy all or part of this requirement.
Living Wills, Estates, and Trusts
Perhaps you want to leave money to the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation in your will, and you also want the flexibility to change your will in the event that life circumstances change. You can do both. In as little as one sentence, you can complete your gift. This type of donation to the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation in your will or living trust helps ensure that we can support cosmetic surgery for years to come.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from Your IRA
If you’re age 70½ or older, you can contribute up to $108,000 directly from your IRA without paying federal income tax on the distribution. For those age 73+, QCDs can also count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) – a powerful way to reduce taxable income while supporting the future of cosmetic surgery.
Gifts of Appreciated Securities
Have long-term investments that have significantly increased in value? Donating appreciated securities-rather than selling them-can help you avoid capital gains tax and earn a charitable deduction for the full fair market value. This is an ideal strategy if you’re looking to reduce portfolio concentration or rebalance before year-end.
