The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians.

The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery designates this educational activity for a maximum of twenty-five (25) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).™ Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

A certificate of attendance will be distributed after completion of the program; however, this does not imply that the participant has achieved proficiency with the procedures.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery is to foster, promote, support, augment, develop and encourage the science, art and practice of cosmetic surgery.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE
This Annual Scientific Meeting will offer attendees a chance to see the best practices in the field, perfect their own set of skills and improve their practice and the care they bring to their patients. The focus on patient safety will be paramount to our advancement of cosmetic surgery science.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE
All cosmetic surgeons, regardless of skill levels, who have a keen interest in improving their knowledge base in the field of cosmetic surgery science, will greatly enlarge their sphere of knowledge. This will come from well-designed presentations from basic to advanced and simplified workshops for reinforcement of information in the great science of rejuvenation.

NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Cosmetic surgery is a dynamic science and ever changing. The need for constant integration of new knowledge and technology in this health science field of appearance surgery and rejuvenation will allow us as cosmetic surgeons to be at the cutting edge of safety, results and optimal outcomes—a goal of all in the AACS.
