Press Registration
The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery welcomes all credentialed members of the media to attend the AACS 29th Annual Scientific Meeting — Global Innovations and Controversies in Cosmetic Surgery — on January 16-19 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The AACS Annual Meeting is the only true multi-specialty event making it a one-stop resource for content on all areas of cosmetic surgery. As a credentialed member of the media, you'll receive complimentary registration to the meeting and, most importantly, access to some of the top authorities in the world. Plus, you can attend the educational sessions and learn about late-breaking clinical research firsthand.
Press registration information will be available later this month.
If you have any questions, please contact Cynthia Strohschein, AACS Director of Marketing, at cstrohschein@cosmeticsurgery.org or at 312.981.6763.
Photo identification will be required at onsite registration. In addition, please review the media policies below for this event. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas this January.
Media Policies and Press Credentials
All requests for press credentials will be granted on a case by case basis, taking into consideration factors, such as the nature of the event; the editorial focus, influence and reach of the publication; the subject(s) and extent of the planned coverage; and the degree to which media attendance will impact event operations and/or the experience and participation of event attendees.
Journalists who are denied credentials — as well as publishing professionals whose primary roles are not editorial related (e.g., publishers, advertising, marketing and sales representatives, etc.) — who have an interest in attending the AACS Annual Meeting for purposes unrelated to editorial coverage may attend by becoming an event sponsor or by purchasing an event registration.
Once approved, all members of the media must abide by AACS policy in covering the Annual Meeting, including:
- No video or photography (including cell phone audio/video recording) is permitted at any time in Educational Sessions or in the Exhibit Hall.
- All requests for interviews regarding Academy policy must be scheduled through the designated onsite media contact, Cynthia Strohschein, AACS Director of Marketing.
