The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery’s mission is to foster, promote, support, augment, develop and encourage the science, art and practice of cosmetic surgery. Since its formation in 1985, AACS has grown to become the leading representative of cosmetic surgery practitioners from a diverse array of original medical disciplines.

AACS maintains a membership of medical and dental professionals who participate in post-graduate medical educational opportunities in cosmetic surgery to ensure consistently high quality patient care.
